There are no less than 18 km of cycle paths through the national forest of the Pays de Monts which will take you to the dunes and then to the large fine sandy beach of Saint-Jean-de-Monts.

The cycle route passes through the former fishing village of the commune of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez which adjoins Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. You will then reach the Corniche Vendée. Don't miss this superb Vendée stage!
